Foods that kill candida

The ominous Candida diet seems overwhelming to most. The long list of “no-no's”makes most feel as if they will starve within the 1st 3days. So I have compiled a list of “yes” foods for the anti-candida diet. These are foods that contribute to ridding the body of candida in some way. Most of them are alkalizing and help greatly while others are foods for probiotics to encourage the good bacteria to fight off the nasty bad bacteria/fungus.

Remember – if you see a long list of seemingly “boring” or “harsh-unpallable”foods , the key is to add flavor through your seasonings. I have added a list of anti-candida seasonings at the bottom.

The Anti-candida food list:

garlic

onion

leeks

shallots

Jerusalem artichokes

cabbage

bok choy

broccoli

coconut oil

arugula

brussel sprouts

cauliflower

collards

celery

horseradish

hot peppers

kale

kohlrabi

mustard greens

radishes

rutabaga

Swiss chard

turnips

turnip greens

watercress

pumpkin seeds

squash

zucchini

string beans

bitters such as endive and dandeliongreens

parsley

fennel

Suggested seasonings:

Garlic (notice this is on here twice...it's a good one!)

Ginger (on here twice as well!)

Thyme

cayenne

oregano

cardamon

clove

cinnamon

cumin

allspice

Anise

celery seed

turmeric
